Merry Christmas Allison!!!

I really wish you were here for Christmas. I miss you so much.

Below is a picture of your Christmas present. Since we had to use an item in our house, or make the present, this is what I made you:

It will be wrapped and under a tree, maybe the one in my backyard, when you get home.

Love you so much!!!

Why?

This was one of the top stories on Yahoo today.

Woman Paints Entire Car With Nail Polish
Dec 22 2008 - 10:00am
What would you do with approximately 250 bottles of nail polish? Why, painstakingly paint a giant colorful quilt on your car, of course.

According to The Maryland Gazette that's just what Urbana resident Jill Bell did. After finding a dent in her car's hood, she cleverly painted a Band-Aid over the unsightly bump. Chuckle. She liked the idea so much, she decided to paint her entire car [1] with nail polish! I'm guessing (and hoping) she didn't use one of those $30-a-pop lacquers from Chanel's Moscow Collection [2].

Nope. What she did use? The help of others. "Lots of ladies in my church donated nail polish, and lots of ladies at Weight Watchers, too," she told the newspaper. Bell estimates that 100-250 bottles of nail polish were used to accomplish this feat — a feat that took 13 months to finish. Whoa!

Twilight

I started reading Twilight the day after Thanksgiving and finished it in three days. If you know me, that is amazing. I am now reading Eclipse, the third book in the series. I can't seem to get to into this one as much as the first and second. Actually Twilight was the best. I fell in love with Edward. Edward is the perfect boyfriend despite the fact that he has a few different characteristics of other men. I went to see the movie last night and have to say that it was a tiny bit disappointing. It was good, and I still love Edward, but he did not look like what I wanted him to look like. This is him in the movie:
And this is him in my head:
I'm well aware that it is Clark Kent from Smallville, but the entire time I read the book, this is what I pictured Edward to look like.

Anyway, they are both babes and I enjoyed the movie. Sadly, my life is revolving around fictional characters in a book. Edward is now the standard I am setting for men. Freezing body and all.

I know, right?

Yeah, yeah. Its been a while since I blogged. There are a couple reasons why. First off, I have been pirating internet service for about two years from some random neighbor. All of a sudden, no more internet. Apparently, they moved. And, I never thanked them. Bad me.

Secondly, I really don't have much to blog about. No new dates, mainly because no one is worth dating. Ok, that, and no one asks me out. Except for the creepy man in Wal-Mart today. (Yes, I went to Wal-Mart. NEVER AGAIN). He really didn't ask me out, he just stood behind me in line and said, "Ummm ummm, I know what I want for Christmas". He said it very quietly, like he was thinking it. So I glanced back at him and said, "You do realize you said that out loud?" And he said, "Oh, yeah". Other than creepy Wal-Mart freak (CWF for short),not one person wants to date me. (I am well aware that he technically didn't ask me out on a date, but its the closest thing I have had lately.)

My hope for today is that one day someone special gives me this sign:
